Refund & Payment Policy

Mark's Plumbing & Backflow Refund & Payment Policy

At Mark's Plumbing & Backflow, we are committed to providing professional residential and commercial plumbing services throughout Fort Myers, Cape Coral, North Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Estero, Bonita Springs, Sanibel, Port Charlotte, and surrounding Southwest Florida communities.

By scheduling service, approving an estimate, signing a contract, or submitting payment, you agree to the following payment and refund terms.

Accepted Payment Methods

We currently accept:

  • Cash

  • Check

  • Credit Cards

  • Debit Cards

  • Stripe

  • Square

  • Apple Pay

  • Tap to Pay

  • Venmo

  • Zelle

  • Cash App

  • Direct Bank Transfers

  • ACH Payments

Payment methods may be updated periodically without notice.

Service Call Fees

Service call fees, diagnostic fees, inspection fees, emergency response fees, and trip charges are earned when the technician is dispatched and are non-refundable.

These fees compensate for:

  • Travel time

  • Diagnostic work

  • Inspection services

  • Professional expertise

  • Scheduling and dispatch expenses

No Refund Policy

Due to the nature of plumbing services, all sales are final.

Mark's Plumbing & Backflow does not provide refunds for:

  • Service calls

  • Diagnostic visits

  • Emergency service calls

  • Labor performed

  • Time spent on-site

  • Installed materials

  • Purchased materials

  • Completed plumbing repairs

  • Completed installations

  • Backflow testing

  • Leak detection services

  • Commercial plumbing services

  • Maintenance services

  • Inspection services

Once labor has been performed, materials have been ordered, technicians have been dispatched, or work has commenced, charges become earned and non-refundable.

Materials and Special Orders

Materials purchased specifically for a customer's project may not be returned once ordered, delivered, installed, or allocated to the job.

Special-order items are non-refundable.

Estimates and Additional Work

Estimates are based on conditions visible at the time of inspection.

Additional plumbing issues, hidden damage, code violations, corrosion, deteriorated pipes, or unforeseen conditions may require additional labor and materials beyond the original estimate.

Customers will be notified whenever possible before additional work is performed.

Payment Plans

We understand that unexpected plumbing emergencies can create financial hardship.

At the sole discretion of Mark's Plumbing & Backflow, payment plans may be available for qualifying customers.

Payment plan approvals, terms, and schedules are determined on a case-by-case basis.

Customers experiencing hardship are encouraged to speak directly with ownership regarding available options.

Approval of a payment plan is not guaranteed.

Late Payments

Invoices not paid according to agreed terms may be subject to:

  • Late fees

  • Collection efforts

  • Legal action

  • Additional administrative costs

  • Suspension of future services

Construction Liens and Collection Rights

For qualifying projects and where permitted by applicable law, Mark's Plumbing & Backflow reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies to recover unpaid balances.

This may include:

  • Collections

  • Legal action

  • Recording of construction or mechanic's liens

  • Recovery of costs associated with collection efforts

Customers are responsible for all amounts due under approved estimates, invoices, contracts, and service agreements.

Billing Disputes

If you have concerns regarding an invoice or completed work, please contact Mark's Plumbing & Backflow immediately.

We are committed to resolving customer concerns professionally and fairly.

Customers agree to contact our office to discuss billing concerns before pursuing formal payment disputes whenever possible.
